English Reading and Fundraiser for the Ukraine with Chrystyna Lucyk-Berger

On the evening of January 17, the English Library Nenzing hosted a fundraiser for HeartAid, a local organisation supporting Ukraine. Chrystyna K. Lucyk-Berger performed a reading of the title story from her book "Souvenirs from Kyiv." Natalija Neier told us about HeartAid and what they have done to help people and soldiers in Ukraine.

We raffled off Pysanky (Ukrainian easter eggs), participation in a class with Courtney Kramer Wlcek to learn how to make Pysanky and three of Chrystyna's books.

The proceeds of the raffle, book sales and donations came to €408.50 and we are happy to donate it all to HeartAid.
